E-participation

E-participation contributes to the promotion of young people’s active participation in the decision-making and policy-making processes, but also to the exploration of their needs before a decision is taken. Through this tool, young people can contribute in setting priorities, talk and decide together with the policy makers, share their views in an open dialogue process and suggest projects that can improve and promote young people’s well-being on a local or national level.

To this end, the YBC participates in the EUth European Project. The EUth Project is a three-year research project funded by Horizon 2020, which involves 11 partners from 8 different countries. Its purpose is to encourage the participation of young people in policy-making processes and to increase their trust in decision-making mechanisms. In this context, OPIN, which is a specific platform has been created. The YBC uses OPIN for the National Youth Strategy and for consultations with young people.
