The Youth Board’s Youth Policy department monitors the developments in the youth field at the European and international level, and it is an active member of various bodies within the European Union, the Council of Europe, the Commonwealth and the United Nations. The youth-oriented strategies and policy papers, adopted by various European and international bodies provide essential guidance for youth policy issues in Cyprus.

Within the European Union’s section, there are specific segments on the EU Youth Strategy, Youth Wiki, the EU’s online encyclopedia on national youth policies, the EU’s Youth working groups and the 11 Youth Goals. The Council of Europe’s policies and various bodies, with which YBC works closely for the improvement of the policies and services developed for youth, as well as the UN and Commonwealth’s youth policies and actions are described below.
