Following the approval decision of the Strategy, the Youth Board of Cyprus (YBC) is the National Coordinator for the creation, implementation and monitoring of the National Youth Strategy (NYS).
In the context of the implementation of the Strategy, the Youth Board of Cyprus is responsible for monitoring the implementation of the Action Plans and the NYS, through the preparation and submission of progress reports to the Council of Ministers through the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth.
The aim of the Progress Reports is to record the implementation progress of the actions included in the Strategy.
The First Progress Report for the period 2017-2019 was prepared by the Youth Board of Cyprus with the contribution of the members of the Cross-Sectoral Working Group for the Youth.
The First Progress Report for the period 2017-2019 includes detailed information on the implementation of the First Action Plan of the NYS, such as the progress made, the amount of budget that was spent and the performance indicators of all measures and programmes implemented by government bodies and agencies.
